Hey! I realized that you has a very similar style like me. You like to draw mostly digitally, on seperate layers, use almost the same style of sketches, and also get lots of reference from posemaniacs.com, like me. It's just interesting

Hmmm... I suppose that's somewhat true. For the most part though, I try to use only one layer when painting though. To me limiting my ability to edit what I've done is a better way of doing things. If you like posemaniacs, check out [link]

No, I've not, but I have a piece that I'm entering this year in the computer art category. If you google scholastics art and writing though, their site shows up. It says what they look for on there.

Yeah, I've seen any Gurren Lagann episode/movie ever made. I watched the full series, and saw both movies. Don't worry about spoiling anything lol.

Well, I liked the second movie far better than the first. They actually slightly changed the ending in it, so you should watch it. Both movies are basically condensed versions of the entire series, in two parts. It cuts a lot, but the second one adds a bit too.

And, I did indeed read their journal. But, it's really quite suspicious. Their friend has similar traits to cawkblawk as well AND tested out the script himself, too. How much testing do they need? And, this whole him wanting to help his friend spread a message across deviantART could easily turn into a hack if he includes a link to the message. Since, apparently, one of the ways to get hacked is to click on a certain link.

The fact is, I never knew that anime lovers had such a bad rep amongst the deviants so I was just assuming that everyone was Flaming my usage of the word. I mean, it was the first time anyone's been so aggressive about it.
I apologize again.
Also, most of my portfolio is full of traditional illustrations such as Life Art, Landscapes, Paintings and so on. I understand that Schools won't take the medium seriously (same with even American cartoons) therefore I'm prepared to do whatever it takes in order to get a job even remotely close to "Mangaka" or "Comic Artist".

I only posted one comment dude, and you didn't respond to it. You didn't offend me, I was just letting you know my opinion. DA gets a lot of people that want to be professional manga artists, so people tend to be a bit irritable towards them. (and if you look at other art sites, it's the same way generally) Btw, awhile back, I was looking at colleges and found one that has a comic major. You should look into MCAD. I've read that it's VERY competitive though, and costly. (like $40,000 a year costly)

I would recommend uploading some of this normal art that you're saying is in your portfolio than, if you're worried about looking like a weeaboo. Don't get me wrong, I like anime too, but having a gallery full of anime doesn't really stand out much. Speaking of such, I really should try to find more watchers lol

Haha I love working on paper that's 11" X 14" so unless I cram it in my scanner, It wouldn't be wise to do so. ^^

You can't understand everyone on the internet, so most people don't bother trying. :/ Sidenote though, why not take pictures of your art? I hear that good outdoor pictures can be actually better than a scanner.
