well if you ever get the chance to go anywher, take it! it's awesome ...though some people truely just don't like to go anywhere. i work for a proffesional jousting troup it's fun!

yes proffesional jousting and thank you for knowing what that is. sometimes people's ignorance astounds me. i don't know where you live...but if you hear of a renfair that has The Knights of Mayhem there...that's us!

Nope, never heard of you. But then, we're not a large city.

I would stick with just maybe going, and saving money, but the problem is I have to give $100 non-refundable a year in advance - by March 1st.

I have the money, but if I don't make it, that's $100 wasted, so I don't know if I can go.

If you ever come up to Traverse City, Michigan, USA, let me know and I'll come see you, I would love to see professional jousting.

I've been to medieval times, of course, since that's where the choir has to go for the awards ceremony in Chigogo after Heritage Festival every year (been there two times) but that had the whole storyline thing and you couldn't see much because of the special effects.

Not to say that it isn't still awesome, it's just not as cool as seeing actual jousting would be.
