# About me

A midlife crisis has led me to come back to one of my first loves...art. I enjoy seeing the masters' works hanging on the walls of museums, but I also love to surround myself with things that remind me of the outdoors and life. I love themes with horses, dogs, trees, flowers, and wildlife of all kinds. I am a student of art...and as such have experimented in mediums from charcoal, pastels, acrylics, oil, and even sculpting. I do work with leather once in a while, carving and tooling, but my real love is in the fine arts...and most likely the oil paintings I like to make.

You may use my photos for practicing to draw; I know I use a reference photo for most of my painting. I do ask if you use my work in a deviation to just let people know where you got the elements from. I do have some "better" stuff...I do hope to get a core membership someday...so feel free to buy a print or download. Thanks and keep art alive:)
