what i meant was that k-pop is kind of a mix between hip hop, dance/electronica, indie (dedpending on the group), as well as r & b, and ballads.

have you ever read any of clamp's work?

well it all kind of depends on the group. some are more hip hop-ish than others and there is one group that specializes in ballads.
oh oh i forgot to mention that i'm going to L.A. in september to see a korean concert. it's the first time that they have ever performed outside of asia and it's the only place they're going outside of asia! i'm so exciiiiiiiiiiited

haha yes they are. i just finished reading tsubasa reservoir chronicle and good lord the ending was sooo confusing. i don't even get all of it now after thinking about it... but i love there art work and plot lines. what exactly have you read by them? sounds like you read one of the weirder ones...?

I tried reading that... got bored... I liked WiSH (very short), Card Captor Sakura was entertaining, X... went on too long and Kamui whiiiiiiined to much and my favorite characters were killed off. Tried to read XXXholic, too... got bored. I've heard a lot about TRC, and honestly, it sounded like not only the plot, but the characterization was all over the place (and not in a good way). But my goodness, their art is pretty, I'll agree with that!

wish was cute and so was card captor sakura. did you read both parts of card captor sakura? read X too. hmm i like xxxHolic. TRC goes along with xxxHolic. it was kind of all over but it eventually all ties together but in a very confusing manner. have you read magic knight rayearth, tokyo babylon, or rg veda? haha their art is super amazing and ridiculously detailed

I loved Magic Knight Rayearth (forgot CLAMP did that one ), both the manga and the anime - Fuu was my favorite character, mainly for her color scheme, and her way of saying things that made people pause and go, "Wait, what?."

haha i liked umi. her temper is pretty amusing especially when she would take it out on mokona
you should try reading TRC just to see if you like it. some of the pairings are absoulutely hilarious! characters from pretty much all of there previous works appear in there some time or other. like CCS, X/Tokyo Babylon, MKR, chobits, RG Veda, Legal Drug, Clamp School Detectives, Chang an(?), xxxHolic of course, etc. it's fun to see all of them in there
