Now, that doesn't mean anythin crazy or vulgar...but it means that when Mario put the ... behind his "No, I had to study" Jessi took it to mean that he wasn't really studying. If Mario had said: "No, I had to study!" (with the exclamtion mark, see? ) Then Jessi probabaly would have taken the sentence to mean that he really was studying. Does that make sense?
