It's actually come along great.
While I can't judge my own talent, I've had fellow musicians around the Rockford area commend me at the speed I'm learning. It's actually taught me a lot more about music theory than taking piano lessons did.
I've been playing with a contemporary worship band at my school for weekly chapel services and I've cut a mediocre CD as a fund-raising effort.
Currently my equipment is lacking. It's just a Roland Cube 30 right now, and a Bad Dog Distortion to crunch it up a bit.
