A month in a new apartment with v2iketibu (deviant) has passed, and been the luckiest and most interesting time of my life. We are collecting furniture, and have nicely settled in. Still a few things need to be done but everything is under control and after a month I still want to keep it (apt.).

Hello! Just wondering how you've been. Glad you passed the exams... mine were cancelled, because the university professors are on strike (hey, that's Greece!), which means we'll have to sit them in September.. blah... but anyway; at least I now have some spare time!

I bought the Coolpix 995 for a couple of reasons.

1. The macro (incomparable to any other camera of its price range)
2. Excellent zoom lens and zoom features
3. Add-ons are unmatchable
4. Excellent combination of click and shoot and full manual mode
5. It supported (although unofficially) 1 gig IBM drives so if I ever go on a lengthy trip...you know the rest.
6. The price was right (and I had the money)


Some people were complaining about how the case is plastic...I actually like it plastic...it's a nicer feel when you hold it.

I posted this in the thread as well, but I thought that you might want to see it here in case you missed it.
