That piece with the Tamers style Digivolve (super tight btw) and then the perspective on Flymon is just awesome. Was that an irregularly large Flymon, or is Faoladhmon really small? The perspective of the Digivolve scene seems to speak for the latter, but the burst reflecting on the Flymon could indicate the former. Sorry if you explained it in the description, my brain sometimes short circuits with long texts at this hour.

Faoladhmon is sort of small, not like Tailmon-small but like, human-sized, they're only like around 7 feet tall. Plus I don't know if I remember wrong but I always remember Flymon being pretty big whenever they've been close enough to the kids in the show. Well, in the show, digimon of the same species sometimes have pretty big size differences, too!

Ah. See, I wasn't sure if it was the case of an excessively large Flymon (I'm well aware of the size changes, such as the massive Greymon. Weight is key) or the case of Faoldhmon being based on a miniscule creature and thus being around twenty centimeters tall or so. But yes, Flymon does seem to hover around one-and-a-half to two meters.

Yes, I thought he was a very tiny Adult/Champion Digimon, like as small as Piximon or smaller. That's what I thought the surprised look was about, because he looks a tad overconfident, but I guess that could be you emulating the same lighting and frame dynamics of Growlmon's sequence.

I don't really know what you meant by "emulating the same lighting and frame dynamics of Growlmon's sequence" just know because I don't really know what Growlmon sequence you're referring to, but I just thought the composition was interesting and made Flymon look ominous, and the lighting/shading is quite heavy because there's light sources (fire) everywhere in the picture.

I see, well, that's cool then, as long as I get to see it. Say, where do you get your human graphics for those anyway? I saw what I assumed was your comic, and it had pretty decent ones, unlike others I've seen, which seemed to be edited Sonic sprites.

Well I use MMZX sprites which are edits of Megaman Zero, ZX, and ZX Advent sprites. People generally use Sonic sprites because they say that they are easier to edit, however I never liked sonic sprites and they are the hardest sprites to edit in my opinion so I stick to MMZX which are more of my forte.

I see. That explained the structure. Basically, all that was done was they slapped on some clothes and a face, to they totally looked like Sega hedgehogs, which was really weird. Care to direct me to a base sprite?

Then for the editing part just google sonic sprite tutorials and you'll be presented with a plethora of tuts. Or, you can, like me, learn from scratch; editing and not really getting anywhere other than a simple edit. With that said I never really liked that spriting style but go ahead and see if you fair better.

I don't know about others but these are what I use, for the comic though Soul (the main character) is just a recolor. That is because that is how I envisioned his character, but all other characters are edited.
