I think this quotation closely describes why started to take photographs.
At the age of 10 I've done the first snapshots with our small black Revue-camera (35mm film I think) and later in 2006 (age 12) with my moms Kodak Easyshare. 2007 I got a Kodak bridge-camera and took photos of everything around me and our trip to Tenerife.
2008 was the year of the Olympus. I bought the E-410, which was out in the stores and produced in 2008 and took her around wherever I've been.

Maybe this are the right words.
However after 3 years with the Olympus E-410 and gaining a lot of experience and even more fun in beeing a hobbyist in photography I decided to sell 'her' and since October 2011 I'm proud owner of a Nikon D90 with a 18-105mm Nikkor lens and Photoshop CS5 (little co-operator).

One last quotation I really like.

Es wäre viel schöner, wenn du die watermarks weglassen könntest. Manchmal wird das Bild dadurch zerstört.
