The man walked the streets of the city alone, expect for the creatures he held dear to him, snug inside their balls on his belt. He rested on a bench. The city has been abnormally quiet. The expansive city was usually bustling with activity from the people going to work and Trainers coming and going. But today, only a few people were walking the streets, a few trains coming and going, and the chirp of the occasional Fletchling flying overhead. He leaned forward, sighing. It was quiet. Lonely.

(Thanks for the watch!)

Ah night was indeed a perilous time to be around the water for any humans...for that is where the monsters of the deep mysteriously lurk around the surface and the merfolk are at their best since no one can be able to see them, only hear. Which is exactly what they wanted.. and that is what is happening right now. A few of the mermaids have decided to use their melodius songs to lure whomever was out there, a few men that decided to go out for a nightly swim seeming to freeze in place then gradually, in a..zombie-like manner so to speak started to move in that one direction towards them. On and on they swam, not even giving a single glance to the white haired male as he attempts to keep himself afloat. By the time the doomed victims were there, the songs turned to hums and giddy giggles as the black silhoeuttes barely illuminated by the light of the crescent shaped moon. The mermaids seemed to toy with their victims a little before snarling harshly, the grotesque sounds of flesh being torn apart and squelches of intestines being pulled out/chewed on, lastly the ones of their blood being slurped up rather noisly and greedily like the pigs they are! The worst part? The victims didn't even have time to scream out for help or attempt to swim away which..okay the last part may have been most likely impossible actually due to how strong their tail muscles were and being used to all sorts of waters whether calm or rough. After that was done, after the meal was finished, they stayed there, but instead adjusting theirselves and combing their hair with a jagged shell, giggling amongst the other. Meanwhile, Aquarius didn't feel entirely in the mood for singing and luring humans..he felt more..at ease so to speak? Aye..more at ease. But the young lad still stuck around on one of the rocks, using his own shell-comb to tame his hair. Oh sure the water's currents always made it feel soft but holy crap can those tangles be worse than the squeals of a lobster being boiled! Struggling a little with one knot, obsidian/dark gray eyes rolled about in annoyance as he heard the sounds of the mermaids giggling, finding it utterly bothersome for the most part.Β

(You're welcome~ And thank you for the starter~ Oh, I was worried I'd have to say something first, because I was feeling rather shy.)

Rin and Len, on the other hand- Er, paw- found them quite entertaining. Oh, these two cats loved causing mischief and strife, and loved watching it as well. The two pitch black bakeneko were curled up on a jagged rock protruding from the black ocean's depths, just watching in glee, and silently making sure not to let their fur get wet. They had followed these humans out to sea, curious as to where they were headed, and decided to watch the show once they found out. Oh, it'd be really cool if they could lure their toys to them with songs. But no. They've made it thus far with deceptively cute looks and adorable meows, and they can keep on doing so. A few times, they were tempted to snag a bit of food from the merfolk, but... They were cautious cats, and they weren't looking to get injured or get their nice, dry fur all wet with saltwater. Though... One did catch their interests. This merman didn't seem all to keen on joining the others in their feast. How... Curious. Well, the two just weren't the type to leave a mystery unsolved, even if it was dangerous, so, silently, they glided over to him, hovering a few feet above the water's surface. Oh, the ability to fly really came in handy for such things. After all, they weren't about to go for a late-night swim. Curiously, they meowed a few times, aiming to get this peculiar merman's attention.

Oh? Is that a meow the merman heard? Maybe a...catfish- okay cut the cheesy references. Anywho, Aquarius looked over in the direction of the felines, tilting his head curiously while his dolphin chittered a little. "Well Flipper I don't know what sort of creatures these are honestly..but they look so beautiful..like the night sky..or darkness." He commented. "They look hungry though..you both hold on alright?" The merman said as he gave them both a warm smile then dove back into the water with his mammal, gone for a moment or so before he popped back out with two flailing trouts in one hand, held upside down by the tail with a rather firm grip. "Is this alright? I hope fish is okay.." Aquarius said, still holding the two that were trying so very hard to escape and go back under the water.

Thank you~

But yes~ I get bouts of shyness.)

Oh, now that was curious. Though, I guess a fishman living in the sea wouldn't be very accustomed to seeing land creatures, 'mythical' or otherwise. (Yeah, but I'm more beautiful than my brother.) Oh yes, these two were hungry. Being around food made them feel rather famished. They nodded lightly, revealing that they could indeed understand him, and were sentient, Β and just watched as he dove under the water, tails swaying lightly back and forth. Well, this guy seemed nice enough. They smiled a little when he returned with the two rather delicious-looking fish, and eased a bit closer before quickly snatching the fish away from him, quickly tearing into them, the trouts quickly growing still, allowing the two to eat without fear of dropping their food.

(Omfg-

....you amaze me.Β

With that one little fact.o3o)

Seeing those claws unsheath and knock those fish out, he couldn't help but watch with great interest as those flailing creatures fell limp after a few slashes. "Wow.." He murmured, his obsidian eyes never leaving the very sight once, his mind rewinding the recent memory inside his mind. But..was that a smile he saw earlier when handing them the fish? 'Hm..well it wouldn't be too odd!' Aquarius thought to himself, shrugging a little before turning his attention back to his own pet, chuckling. "If you're hungry, go on ahead girl." He said, watching Flipper go back down under the water and leaving him with the two black cats that seemed to hold more mystery and wonder than any other human he's ever seen before in his..immortal life.

(hdkas-

Well I'm happy to amaze~)

The two felines eagerly tore into their prizes, blood dribbling into the water, not minding that the fishman was watching them. I mean, it's not like he could glean any secrets by watching them eat. They didn't even seem to need to remove any inedible parts, like the bones. That certainly made them stand out as quite strange. Though, whether or not he knew that normal cats cannot eat whole fish was a mystery to them. They paid little attention to the dolphin as it dove right back underwater. Before too long, they had managed to finish off their fish, and busied themselves with cleaning themselves off, calmly licking their paws and muzzles to rid them of the blood, quite content with their full bellies.

(Psh~ :3)

"Content?" He inquired, smiling a little at all of this, chuckling at the adorable sight of the two felines.

But then it hit him..how'd they get here all dry? And..are there any humans that owned the felines? If there

was..then where are their masters? As all of these questions went on in his head, Aquarius clearly not voicing it

since it may have appeared as odd towards them because..well..he can't speak cat first off, and it's not like

they can exactly talk now can they? Oh well, what can be said about those facts right? The blood or way they ate didn't bother him in the least since that's how he ate sometimes as well and just chuckled some more at the thoughts

rummaging all around his head. "Well you two certainly look glad for the food." The sapphire haired male said, smiling warmly down at the two.

The two meowed in response, purring as they cleaned themselves off. Oh, they glided here. Quite an easy feat for their kind. Oh, two humans used to own them, but they have long since passed on. But, as strange as it may seem, they could quite easily speak human languages. Just another of their many talents. Just, they didn't trust him enough to speak with him yet. Though, they were quickly warming up to him. So, perhaps they would give away that secret soon. But, for now, they just continued cleaning themselves off, tails lightly twitching.

Sighing heavily, Arthur fluttered down to sit on the armrest of a bench, wings twitching slightly. The little fairy had gone too far into the city after a fair bit of wandering, and now that it was already dark out, couldn't quite find his way back to the fairy hollow in the park - he'd have to wait till morning for that, unfortunately. To top it off, he was close to running out of fairy dust - he only had a small portion left for any emergencies, tucked away in a little bag in his pocket, so walking was becoming an inevitable, lingering option until he found a safe place to rest till morning. Glancing around warily, Arthur was glad to see that no humans seemed to be around; though, he was confident that he wasn't alone, due to an eerie little chill at the back of his neck.

The two mischievous "monster cats" were out again, roaming around in search of their next victim. Their blue eyes scanned the area in search of easy prey for their nighttime antics, and their tails twitched lightly as they padded softly around. Oh, humans were easy enough targets, but they wanted something a little more... Interesting. Plus, there weren't many humans out around here. Perhaps they could contact Demon, see if he had any suggestions. Len's ears perked at hearing the soft flutter of tiny wings, and he nudged Rin to get her attention. With a few glances around, the two managed to catch sight of the fairy. Being familiar with other 'magical creatures', as humans called them, they could easily identify him as a fairy. Though, they spent more time around the darker area of that group. But, they did know that fairies were always fun to mess with. He wasn't too far away, either. He'd be the perfect prey. They hunkered down close to the ground, creeping up towards him. It would be a game to see which one could get the little fairy. Before long, the two pounced, aiming to just trap him for now.

{{De rien~}}

Yawning softly, Arthur rested his hand on his chin as he sat there, a tiny bit bored but unwilling to wander around again, lest he get himself into deeper trouble. However, his growing uneasiness soon made the fairy a little restless, and he noticeably fidgeted now and then, yet he remained unaware of the two cats creeping up on him - that was, until he was knocked right off the bench, feeling a heavy weight pressing down on his back till he found himself on the ground. Arthur gasped in alarm, beginning to squirm beneath one of the cat's paws; while he wasn't sure which of the two had gotten him, that honestly was the least on the poor creature's mind right now. A little squeal of fright came from Arthur as he wriggled and squirmed, no longer able to fly at the moment - that bit of information only managed to panic him further as he briefly raised his head to glance at his captor. The fairy's skin practically to turned a deathly pale color, as he realized it was a cat that had caught him, and seeing that there were two felines terrified the little creature greatly.

In the end, it was Rin who managed to catch him, leaving a pouting Len as the other stuck her tongue out at him teasingly. "I knew I'd catch him~" she purred proudly, to which Len responded with, "I would have, if it wasn't for that fish from earlier." the two seeming to forget about him for a bit there,Β not even bothering to hide the fact that they weren't normal, as fairies weren't all that normal either. Though, he quickly returned to their minds when they glanced down at the poor fairy, trapped beneath one of Rin's forepaws. Len laid down on his belly and chuckled amusedly. "Lookie what we caught, sis~ It's a little fairy~" The other laughed in response. "You're right~ Maybe we can bring him to Demon. Demon likes fairies, after all~" "But why should we give him to Demon when we could keep him instead?" the male countered. "You're right~ He does look like he'd be fun to play with~" The two chuckled excitedly, rather eager to get started.

Arthur wriggled beneath Rin's paws, not seeming too bothered by the fact the felines could speak; it wasn't the first time he'd met talking cats before, but they weren't all too common nowadays. At the mention of 'Demon', the little fairy tensed slightly, only to increase his struggling as he realized that perhaps he'd be staying with the felines instead; considering cats were one of Arthur's main fears as a fairy, it was much worse than meeting Demon for the poor creature. Flinching a bit, Arthur swallowed back his fear and flashed a glare at the two felines, tiny body squirming under the massive paws. "Get your filthy paws off me! I'm not a bloody toy!" The Brit snapped, though a rather abrupt thought occurred to him moments later - being pinned on his back was considered one of the worst positions for a vulnerable fairy. After all, fairy wings, while they were often pretty, would be easy to snap or damage if they were bent the wrong way or crushed, and this would all cause immense pain to the victimized fairy. Feeling uncomfortable with the heavy weight on his back, Arthur huffed and continued to wriggle frantically, desperate to escape.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

b-lack-cats In reply to FaithTrustAndScones [2013-11-19 03:47:04 +0000 UTC]

The two just grinned widely at his outburst, finding it and his struggling rather amusing. "Oh, looks like this fairy has some fight in him!" the two laughed, tails flicking back and forth. "But you're a toy to us~" the male purred, "Or maybe you could be a snack~" the other suggested, pulling her teeth back to show off sharp teeth. "Your wings look like they could be pretty tasty~ And I bet your little tummy could be too~" "Yeah, but he's so little, there wouldn't be enough to share. So which one would get him?" "Of course, I would. I caught him, so he's my snack." "Yeah, but I saw him first, so I should get him." And, from there, the two proceeded to argue further over him, not bothering to pay attention to him. Rin even took a little pressure off of him, though not knowingly.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

FaithTrustAndScones In reply to b-lack-cats [2013-11-19 11:21:19 +0000 UTC]

Glaring, Arthur couldn't help but tremble at the mere thought of becoming a simple snack to either of the felines, sickened at just the image of it. He yelped a little though, at the mention of his wings, and instinctively struggled against Rin's paw in growing panic; if anything, he didn't want his wings to get hurt. If he managed to escape, his wings would be the only way he could get away safely and promptly. "N-no! Not my wings!" Cringing a little, Arthur soon quirked an eyebrow as he heard Rin and Len bickering, only to feel the pressure on his back lessen just slightly; but enough for Arthur. With a little bit more wriggling, the fairy finally managed to pull himself out from under Rin's paw - wings fluttering rapidly, Arthur zipped away, leaving behind a trail of golden pixie dust in his wake. However, the fairy only managed to fly a couple of feet, before his pixie dust began to run out, making him fly lower and lower to the ground till he had to land clumsily, little bits of golden dust drifting from his glowing wings.Β

No, not even then could he. Being the creatures that they were, they had the ability to fly, like all bakeneko. Though he didn't have to know that yet. Only if it was impossible to bring him back any other way. The two continued arguing back and forth over who would get to have Arthur, paying no attention to the fairy, too busy deciding who would keep their little snack. Though, it quickly dawned on Rin that there was a distinct lack of struggling against her paw. She took only a moment to glance down at her paw, Len doing the same, before both bolted off after him, deciding to stop verbally arguing for the sake of catching their meal. Though that didn't mean they weren't willing to shove each other a bit in an attempt to get to him first. They were quite pleased to see that he wasn't able to fly all that far, doubting that he would be willing to place his life on the line to trick them, and sped up in response. Again, it was Rin who managed to get to him first, being lighter on her feet than Len. But, instead of trapping him under a paw again, she scooped him up in her jaws and just kept on running, trying to keep Len from catching him, being careful not to injure her treat.

Arthur had managed to break into an awkward sprint for barely a few moments, till Rin had caught up to him; within a matter of frantic seconds, he found himself in the feline's jaws, thrashing and squirming in blind terror. Uncomfortable in the cramped, wet space, the fairy kicked and flailed, though tucked his wings in a bit, but it wasn't enough to keep them from getting soaked with thick saliva. Desperate to escape, Arthur squealed and repeatedly struck the roof of the cat's jaw while he thrashed and kicked, unwilling to become a snack so easily - while he did carry his small bag of remaining fairy dust, and a dagger in his belt, he couldn't reach either in the cramped space - his one visible eye was wide open with fright, and the other covered by his eyepatch; which was already starting to get damp from saliva. His little cries and yells muffled from within Rin's jaws, the fairy could only thrash, kick, hit, and wriggle all he could, often trying to kick one of Rin's teeth or the roof her maw repeatedly.

In the time that she held him in her jaws, she mentally went over what to do with Arthur. She could eat him, or she could toy around a bit with him, or she could let him go. Well, of course, the last one was a big fat no. And if she stopped to toy with him, then Len would catch up with her, and she'd lose her toy. She couldn't help but giggle a bit though. His squirming was pretty funny. She had been right. His wings did taste pretty good. "Come back! He's mine, Rin!" Len called out behind her. He was a bit stronger than her, but also slower, and that was definitely not helping here. The fish they had mooched off some kind-hearted old woman earlier hadn't been very much, and he was still hungry. Though, he ind of doubted that his sister would give up the fairy, and he was quite right. So they continued running, Rin running her rough tongue over the small fairy before finally swallowing, stopping and seating herself where she was as she did so, only to be bowled over by her brother, who didn't stop running in time. "Hey!" the female hissed, pushing her brother off. "You ate him already, didn't you? And you didn't save even a wing for me?" Not that a wing would have been enough to satisfy him, but still. "Yup~ And he was pretty good too~" the first purred delightedly, sticking her tongue out teasingly at Len, who tackled her again, only to again be pushed off so that Rin could begin licking her paws.

Squirming, Arthur squealed and continued his constant thrashing, flinching as he felt Rin's tongue swiping across his lite body. However, he turned deathly pale as he was soon felt himself get eased toward the feline's throat, panic rising up inside him. Kicking and squirming, Arthur couldn't do much to save himself as he was swallowed, wincing as he was forced down Rin's tight, wet throat, wings twitching weakly as he wriggled, emitting a small whimper. Eventually, the little fairy plopped into the feline's stomach, gasping a little, only to cough and gag a little, staggering to his feet as he stood up - waist deep in stomach fluid, Arthur huffed and stretched out his wings, wincing a bit and glancing around. Thankfully, his glowing, wet wings offered a dim light within the dark stomach, which gave Arthur a tiny bit of comfort, but not much. Quivering, Arthur approached the stomach wall, cringing a little and beginning to push up against the cushion-like surface, soon starting to pound against it. "Let me out!" The fairy hissed, his hand eventually reaching down to his belt, yanking out his dagger. "You bloody cat! S-spit me out right now!" The fairy spat, shoving against the stomach wall, them beginning to press in the tip of the dagger into the soft, cushion-like flesh, enough to cause a bit of blood to flow, but not enough to be too harmful. "Or so help me, I'll stab you!"

The two merely laughed at his panicked squirming and shouting, finding it quite entertaining.Β Len just watched amusedly as he pushed out against her, laying down on his belly, his tail twitching back and forth.Β "But you just got there, fairy~" Rin chuckled, calmly washing the dirt from her pitch black paws. She liked the feeling of his squirming. It felt funny. However, at feeling the prick of the dagger's tip digging into her stomach, she yowled loudly and immediately began hacking him back up, neither of them laughing now, Len even backing up a little bit. It wasn't all that much, but she wasn't in the mood to have him make it worse. She easily spat him back up on the concrete, her red of blood faintly visible in the saliva and harmless gastric juices that it was mixed in. Without a second thought, Len pounced on him, pinning him down under his paws to keep him from trying to get away, while Rin just glared. "What did you do that for? I was only having a little fun." she huffed, her sky blue eyes narrowed dangerously. Both of them bared their teeth at him, as though silently threatening to pull him apart if he didn't answer.

Arthur kept pressing the dagger to the stomach wall, drawing a little more blood till he felt the walls churn around him, and soon the little fairy had been forced back up Rin's throat, landing on the concrete as he was spat out, dripping wet in saliva and stomach fluids. He squeaked in alarm as he felt a heavy paw slamming down on his chest, raising his head to glare irritably at Len before glancing over at Rin, giving her an equally nasty glare like he'd done with Len. "Fun? You call that fun?" The fairy hissed, gripping the blood-tipped dagger tightly as he held it up, hastily proceeding to position it by paw on his chest, as a silent threat to stab Len if he wasn't released. "You ate me, that wasn't any fun at all!" He huffed, squirming a little beneath Len's paw, gaze flickering to Rin, hinting irritability. "I don't tolerate such fun and games. Now, if you'd like for me to hurt the both of you, go ahead and continue. If not, then I'd sighed you get his filthy paw off of me."

"I wasn't hurting you or anything. And you didn't have to go and stab me." the feline hissed irritably, refusing to acknowledge her own wrongdoings, partly for the sake of her pride. Len happily added a bit more pressure being pushed down on Arthur in response to the dagger being pointed at his paw, not liking the gesture at all. It was just like what those humans did to their 'parents'. "I thought it was fun." she grumbled, licking one of her paws as though the whole ordeal was beginning to bore her, though it was just a facade. At the verbal threat, both looked at him again with piercing gazes, ones filled to the brim with dark, malicious intent. "Who says we can't just as easily hurt you too?" Len growled ferally. "Talking isn't all we can do." It was just small flames, but the warmly hued ghost lights on the end of their tails should be enough to catch his attention. After all, they didn't intend to char him unless he actually went ahead and caused more harm. Right now, they were just trying to intimidate him.

Arthur gagged a bit painfully as he felt the pressure on his chest, and winced, flashing a weak glare over at Len for a moment, only to focus his attention on both felines seconds later. "Oh? Mind you, not all fairies are sweet and gentle, and it's evident by now that not all cats are soft and cuddly." The English fairy growled right back in reply, however, it didn't take long for him to notice the little flames at their tails, which caused Arthur's one eye to widen in alarm as he tensed up. "I-It's clear that you can indeed do more than talking, though perhaps we can both communicate on a better level now. You be civil, and I'll be civil." He hesitated, then slightly lowered the dagger, though didn't put it down just yet.

The two just snorted in response. They thought the human view on fairies was kind of stupid. Of course they aren't all gentle smiles and all that. Humans seemed to like softening up some magical creatures because of appearances. Though, that did tend to make things easier on them when they went around playing pranks, so they guessed that it was useful. Just a little. Len just couldn't help but smile a little as he felt the fairy tense up, which made Rin smile in response. Their tails swayed back and forth lightly, as did the flames on the ends. "You promise not to stab me again?" she purred, putting a paw over her stomach and rubbing a bit. Oh, it had stopped hurting for the most part, but hey. She's a trickster. She wanted to play up the pain to get some sympathy. Not bothering to wait for Arthur to respond, Len took his paws off the wet fairy and laid down next to him. The two let the flames dissipate, leaving no trace that they had ever been there in the first place.
