During a warm day of what seemed to be an eternal summer, laying under a hammock was a man with a generally lively, yet currently relaxed aura envolving him. The Brazilian relaxed there, feeling a pleasant breeze wash over not only his body -- which was not wearing anything but shorts at the moment --, but also the whole balcony of the apartment he lived in. Sighing contentedly, he closed his eyes for a brief moment. "Ah... Life is good." Said that, he didn't notice the person that was just a meter away from him. Rafael wouldn't mind, unless said person let escape a word from their lips.

The small child was walking the streets alone, but he didn't understand what was so bad about it. People warned him to stay near his parents, or not to talk with strangers, but the little demon had no idea what 'parents' or 'strangers' were. He never has parents, and he thought of everyone as a future friend. It was quite weird how Asmodai saw the world. As he skipped down the streets with some food in a bag, he was blasting music into his elf-like ears. However since he wasn't paying attention to where he was going, Asmodai accidentally bumped into someone, falling back to the ground as he grunted softly. Silver eyes looked up at the stranger, smiling and removing the earbud. " Oops, sorry! "

The troll would only go out when he needed to get something, supplies for his crafts, even groceries. He would of course wear a disguise when he goes out to town.
He wore a mask to hide his face that had also blended with his horns A buttoned shirt with black pants and gloves clothed him even though he wasn't accustomed to wearing clothes.
He looked modest and normal despite how his tail hiding in his pant leg caused discomfort and the constant paranoia that someone can tell something was weird about him as he walked by the alleys and streets. He carried a arm of stuff in a large bag. and a plastic one in his large hand. He would have to carry this all to his little shack in the mountains.

"So much for such a sunny day.." She frowned, as her bright blue hazel eyes watched the rain come down from the very atmosphere before them. You see, this "young" woman is in the capital city if Brazil to take a little break from work and stress. At first she heard the weather here would be wonderful throughout the entire week. Though the weather report was once again wrong and instead of seeing a happy sun beaming down. She sees a depressing cloud charging in as it cries down its tears against the ground. How the curly blonde sighed and moved quickly with her hands above her head, soon going into the nearest cafe to get out of the rain as fast as possible.
Soon as she got in she looked around with a slightly bored gaze, though she was smacked by the scent of pastries and coffee. As if she was in a trance she instantly went to the booth and ordered a caramel frappe and a bagel with cream cheese. As she waited patiently, propping up her glasses. She noticed a waiter being very inpatient with a man that seems to be short on change. The Slovene pouted slightly, hesitated at first, she reached to the others shoulder to lightly tap on it. "Excuse me...do you need some change dear...?" She asked softly with a sweet yet small smile.

Saúl fanned himself as he walked, not because of seeing someoen attarctive but the the heat in Brazil was something he was having problems with: Cantabria, even if is locked by mountains, is colder than one could think of and, even if it was humid as well, the Cantabrian man was having difficulties for everything: breathing, dehydratation at every damn half hour and the sun was too much for his likeness in here "ostia puta...que cojones es este lugar? un horno?" he muttered to himself, leaning against the first tree he could find only to take out a bottle of water from his backpack "Fucking weather, I'm melting in here" he scoffed, chugging down the water.

Turning back to the man behind him, Rafael smiled, with a look of tease. He was accustomed to the heat, and even though the heat was sometimes unbearable -- as exemplified by him, his lack of clothes can testify --, to him it was a pleasantly warm day. Looking to the sky for a moment, he looked back at him and gestured for him to come. "Come. My apartment is nearby. Just another corner and we'll be in my street. And then you can have as much water as you want."

HIs offer sounded tempting and, considering that the Spaniard wouldn't be back any time soon, Saúl nodded briefly, sticking to any shadow possible to reach the Brazilian's position "you're....Rafael, right?" he could recall seeing him sometimes in the past, but from afar since it wasn't his job to deal with former colonies.

Rafael, on the other hand, wasn't actively searching for a shadow, instead just letting the soft breezes coming directly from the sea wash him while he walked. Poor Cantabrian. Majoring in both History and Geography gave him the benefit of knowing at least a few tidbits of most countries and their regions. Gladly differentiated him from many Brazilians who don't even know Spain is just to the east and north of Portugal.

Being a demon of habit, he always wrote journals throughout history. It was apart of his life to record human history. He didn't appear to say anything, but he didn't want to disturb the human. As the demon wrote, it was clear he was old style by the ink and pen. Running out of ink, the male let out a disappointed huff. What was he supposed to do? Perhaps ordering the ink earlier would have been a good idea. Staring at the page he had been writing on, the demon found it more or less bothersome.

He didn't mind the presence of the demon over there, rather content to have company. Petting one of his dogs laying nonchalantly on the floor, the Brazilian breathed peacefully. Rafael could feel, though, some tension. Without moving a single muscle from his hammock, he continued petting his dog, who seemed more than content from the affection. "If you want to talk to me, you're more than free to." That would be enough. Just this amount of tension would be enough to make him speak up.

Asmodai simply stared off in the distance, and he flinched at the voice, turning his body to look at where the voice came from. " hm? oh sorry there, didn't mean to cause tension! I just ran out of ink " now showing him the page written in neat handwriting, the demon soon picked the old style ink and feather up, blinking. " I hate the newer pens, they explode on me for some reason, but don't worry " he let out a small giggle, his tail however said otherwise. Asmodai's said long tail was thumping against the grass, showing either annoyance or irritation

Seeing the handwriting, Rafael smiled lightly, noticing that indeed pens weren't used for that, and he got the confirmation from the demon himself. This made the Brazilian blink in awe, it's been really long since he last saw someone use that old style of writing. That made him sit up and face him, now taking his hand away from the dog who already seemed to be asleep to notice. "I didn't know people still used the feather to write. Of course, you're not human, so I might just expect that." He chuckled lightly, even though he was no human himself either. He had just adapted to human life. He was quick to notice something was troubling him, which he went directly to the point. "There's something wrong, isn't it? You don't have to lie to me."

Now chuckling, the demon nodded. " I was here before humans came into the picture, and I used squid ink, and an eagle feather " the demon soon looked to the dog, tilting his head before handing him the journal. " as you can see from the beginning of the book, I had trouble with it " the journal itself was quite old, and thick. " I got a box of these journals will all my experiences throughout human history as well " but at the last thing said, the demon smiled more, shrugging. " I'm just out of ink, and I got myself into a situation "

Smiling at these affirmations, he grabs the journal and begins flipping through the pages as he reads each word. This truly is a nice record, philosophers would kill for this sort of thing. "I'd like to see those books one day." Being someone who has lived through many generations, Rafael can feel some sort of understanding. Some similarity, perhaps. And that makes him empathize with his curiosity as well. "I don't know if there is anywhere you can get more ink... It's been ages since humans last used this sort of writing. But this is curious." Closing the book, and keeping it in hands, he got up from his hammock, showing quite some interest. It was, for him, something that he felt he could discuss with him. Both views on human history. The Brazilian himself has graduated on History, and is well-versed in subjects such as Sociology as well. "I really like your effort. This... I don't think us nations have ever thought of doing something like this before, not even me, who has studied human history himself. But, this is a really nice idea, and it makes me happy to know that you showed interest on humans, despite being a different being. If you'd like, I could discuss with you about my own perspective of humans. I live among them, like I am part of them, and I feel part of them, so you'd probably like that addition to your journals."

Every single page was in complete detail of human history, and it was clear that Asmodai kept track of everything. " I got the box with me actually, see? " and right by the tree was the box of said journals, with dates from the first page written to the last page written. That grabbed his attention, looking up. " really? wow, I would love that! I always love talking to people about history "

Inspecting the box, there are a lot of journals in there... For how long must he have compiled all of those? It bites his curiosity a little. But he smiles at him again. "Is that so? You and me will get along pretty well then. It'd be good telling you about the history of my country, too. And you'd find it very reassuring. After all, I saw it all happen with my own eyes."

Rafael nods, looking back at the book. His attention was diverted to the book for a slight moment, just before he could tell him anything, or ask anything concerning what he wants to know. "This book looks pretty old... Why, it has some mystical sense to it." He chuckles at the last comment.
