It's definitely a good way, the way I've always looked at darker artwork is it should have one or more of 3 things... An uncanny near realism vibe, a grungy dirty stylization of shading, or a heavy use of contrasting darkness and light with the dark encroaching on the subject. And your piece has a pretty good use of the last two, it makes me feel like someone just walked in on something they shouldn't have.Β Β Β
