Yes, I indeed am new to dA. Actually, I already planned on releasing a story (fan fiction) of mine but I think I will wait for some more weeks so that I have more chapters ready (It's already on the internet, though.)

To your first point: I think if you stick with that humor, you won't disappoint anyone. It's because it's funny that people read your work, without that, most people probably would have stopped at the first drawing (sorry to say that).
