Favorite visual artist: Pierre-Auguste Renoir. I like the Impressionists.
Favorite movies: depends on mood, but Princess Bride and Love Actually are always near the top.
Favorite TV shows: Sherlock, Agents of Shield, House, Burn Notice
Favorite bands / musical artists: Lots. Love the acapella movement, PTX fan. More into older rock than modern hip hop: Springsteen, Green Day, Pogues, Ramones.
Favorite books: I'm an English professor, darn it. How can I choose? But I do tend to the pre-1850s classics, and tend to go British rather than American.
Favorite writers: Shakespeare, Chaucer, Austen, Twain. If you want writers who are alive, I'm a big Laurie R. King fan.
Favorite games: KOTOR (KOTOR2, not so much), ME trilogy, Dragon Age. NWN2, especially MotB. I even have some NWN fan mods that I still play. BioWare all the way, so far, though my son and husband want to expand my horizons.
Favorite gaming platform: PC; don't own any of the others.
Tools of the Trade: keyboard and word processing software
Other Interests: Live theater as often as I can get it. Love to see Shakespeare performed live, the way it was meant to be experienced.
