# About me

Born in Essex near East London U.K. Began selling artwork when in early teens, had prepared to attend artschool but due to lack of support and family pressure had to get a "Proper job!!" spent a couple of years in unsatisfactory, uninspiring jobs then after spending some time selling artwork and playing guitar in various rock bands decided to paint full time and turned professional around 1981/82.
Sold work to galleries and dealers and licenced work for publishers since then. Main subjects are figurative, wildlife and equine painted in a classical realism style.
