You always attributed your love of long sentences to the fact they're perfectly acceptable in German, but I just can't believe it.
It's a fine piece isn't it? I'd made a quick visit to the lad's page when he first appeared on the Cat's Forum and had pretty much shrugged off his writing as overly descriptive, overly philosophical (is that even a word?) with wavery narrative (not my kind of thing), but 'Overwhelm' was something else.

Actually I haven't terminated my internet access yet (they won't let me! Can you imagine?) but I manage to just stay away from it. Your sewing argument was convincing 
So chances you'll catch me online are highest one weekends, for my hotel job is just perfect for having some looks around here. At home, it's mostly preparing for an oral exam the next week, and some occasional writing- in beautifully long-winded German sentences
