Besides β€˜Mitch’, I also read β€˜Dead in the Water’ and β€˜Moxie.’ The critiques I have for you are pretty consistent, the majority of your content is impeccable; the actions and little quirks of your characters are molded and natural. The small talk is mostly very useful and helps to characterize both the speaker and listener.

Grammatically, most is fine, though there are a few places that need to be reconsidered. I was able to figure out the intention of each personally, but pay careful attention to how you create pauses in particular, as that is where you tend to try to create particular effects, often with hyphens, and the pause taken to consider how the pause is meant draws attention away from that beautiful content and breaks the flow.

I also have a question for you – is there a reason you enjoy working with only two characters at a time? I wonder what you could do with a busy scene. My thoughts are that you are possibly nuts about character definition (as indicated by what I’ve read) and can’t imagine either having to define so many, or leave information out of any. Perhaps it is something you would want to look into, you certainly have the potential. I really enjoyed reading you; please don’t ever hesitate to ask for critiques.

Thanks so much for your support, and for taking the time to look at my work. Generally I do like to work with two characters because at this point in my abilities as a writier, it's all I can handle. That, and I don't believe any of my two-person plays are finished. Maybe once they are, I'll try something a little bigger, character-wise.

Again, thanks for your support. I really do appreciate it.

I don't know how I missed that one of your favorite TV characters is Meatwad from ATHF, and even though I'm more partial to Master Shake (I identify with him because I'm such an asshole), I have to admit that my respect for you has doubled, tripled, or even quadrupled.

Thanks for showing interest in my stuff. It keeps me awake.
