{♔} IT has been quite a long time since carmen had visited the lovely country of belgium. she looked around the city, viewing the tall, neat and colorful buildings. brussels did have its own certain charm to it that carmen used to be familiar with. as carmen was leisurely looking at the landscape with a scarf neatly wrapped around her neck, she looked down at the address of some cafe lotte had sent her. 
{♔} CARMEN briefly squinted at the street signs, making use of the very little dutch she knew. this should be the right street...? though honestly, it wouldn't make much of a difference since carmen was minutes late anyway.
{♔} FINALLY, she spotted the sign she was looking for. and not soon after, she found a familiar blonde. delighted to see lotte again, she called and waved-❝ Hello, Lotte ! ❞{♔} WHEN the belgian noticed her, carmen soon wrapped the other in a hug and greeted by kissing both cheeks. and a warm smile appeared on the older lady's lips as she found out that the other was doing well. which was always excellent-❝ I'm glad you're doing fine, mi bomboncita ! 
❝ I'm quite ready to go to your Christmas Markets, by the way. I'm looking forward to that wine ... Glühwein or those sweet dumplings. ❞
