I can read it, but I can't always understand it. I still don't understand much of the language. I believe Sarahsuke knows what's going on there, something about the girl having to hide as Ebisumaru to avoid some feudal lord, and the treasure they were looking for removed some curse. I'd ask her about it if I were you.
