Gabrielle de Chagny is the daughter of the once known Phantom of the Opera. She is around the age of ten years old, currently having no clue of where her origins actually come from. She believes that her Father is Raoul de Chagny having been raised by him. He has always been a rather strict parental figure towards her and will not let her misbehave or act up in any manner, otherwise punishment will be given. Since her Father is such a temper illed man due to his problems with alcohol, he will sometimes take it out on his child and end up beating her and his wife, yet the next day he will apologize for his outbursts. Despite these issues Gabrielle still loves her Father very much and only wants to please him. Her Father has banned all music from the household claiming that it is a waste of time and that it causes his headaches when really it reminds him of the Phantom. This is why Gabrielle is curious to play the piano and wants to hear her Mother sing.
Gabrielle cannot help but be drawn to music. Her mother being the talented opera singer and her birth Father being a genius, Gabrielle is a prodigy in the arts. She has a beautiful voice, resembling that of her Mother. She also has the ability to dance ever so gracefully.
After a couple of years of what seemed to be a normal life in France, it appeared that Gabrielle's life would change when they traveled to Coney Island. This is where the story begins..

Vlad didn't hear from Erik often. Only in times where the both of them were free from the stresses of previous engagements and were able to simply catch each other up on the happenings of their lives. It was the normal rarity of their meetings that made today quite different, especially when Erik had come a few days earlier to explain the whole quite troubling situation to his vampire friend. Erik's beloved had been killed in cold blood and he wanted to "take care of business" in concern to the killer that he described as getting off without any consequences. All Erik asked of Vlad was to watch the child he had been left, a daughter that he had with Christine, as he dealt with the killer accordingly. Vlad accepted his friend's simple request before Erik would say his goodbyes to his daughter and promptly disappear into the night, leaving the girl that was named Gabrielle at the vampire's doorstep.
The dark prince would kneel down to the young girl's level, allowing a kind smile to purse his lips as he reached his hands out and cupped her small hands in his. "Hello, my dear. I am sure you are quite confused and rather frightened by all of this but, I assure you, you will be well taken care of." He said softly to her as he awaited her reply before he glanced to the things she had packed for her trip in his country. "My name is Vlad. I don't believe your father has ever formally introduced you to me yet. He had been in quite the mood, it seemed."

Whatever the magician lead, he always seemed to find his place back in the battlefield soon enough. He couldn't be far away from his people for long, not while he had his ideal paradise always in mind in the back of his mind. For now, he was fine in this beautiful opera house. It looked a little old for wear, but it was something of elegance. Just seeing the intricate designs on the building made satisfied him. It was the grace that he never got to see most times.
He entered the building, a trail of cigarette smoke following him. Many people were here, more than ideal cover. More people, the less he would get noticed. Unless some ladies (or gents-doesn't matter) caught some of his looks, then that would earn a flirt or two. Knowing he had no ticket, the young leader slipped into the more private rooms, marveling at the finery of this opera house. As his own shoes echoed against the marble hallways, he've turned around to hear an...angel? It's voice was younger than he imagined, but it was nonetheless very beautiful.
The black suit and dark hair made him quite stand out in the hallway, making him more noticeable as he opened the door to see a small child.
As she finished singing, he clapped and said with true praise in his voice, "I didn't know angels could come in such little and adorable forms", as the voice itself was something of finery and beauty.
