I just loves Alexisonfire. Since I was thirteen. It was my transition from metal to more punk and hardcore. Now I listen to alot of different stuff. I like how you like alot of stuff I listen to, including Interpol, that's just spiffy. Do you like Cancer Bats by chance? I saw them with Alexisonfire and Attack In Black back in June and they were great. The whole show was great!!! ^_^

ahah yeah ive seen Interpol live aswell! It was great, even though everyone thought it was boring >_<. Yeah Cancer Bats are awesome! I had the chance to see em, but i didnt end up going, ahah i regret it now!
When i went to see Alexis, i ended up spending so much money, i ended up dragging someone who probably wasnt bothered seeing them to this place in the middle of nowhere. lol, though it was seriously worth it, even though they where supported by Soasin and everyone seemed more excited about them than Alexis :S.

If you get another chance to see Cancer Bats live, it's worth it, they're good, and Liam, their lead vocals, is wicked head banger.
The exact same thing happened when I went to see AOF myself. I took someone who didn't want to really go and see them and didn't really know much about them. I probably should have just met some concert firends and hung out with some new people, but ohwell. But I agree about it being worth it, they played so many of my favourites, including "44. Caliber Love Letter" from their first album which was just great. I can't wait for them to come by again (and they do quite often since they're Canadian and I live in Canada).
Post-hardcore stuff gets lots of TV play here in Canada since bands like Alexisonfire and Silverstein came out. Screamo's pretty popular here. ^_^ I thinks it's one of the better things about where I live.

ahahah yeah i noticed that about Liam. Especially in thier video for Pneumonia Hawk, George Pettit seemed a little err...stiff? LOL. I mean obviously they have different styles but Liam is much more fluid which is awesome!
aha! yeah that's cool. I really wanted them to play "hey, its your funeral mama" but they didnt, they played "accidents" instead. It was still awesome but i love that song and its just a shame they didnt play it, i hear they dont play it often anyways!

Here, id say its also there has been some good stuff coming out, like Bring Me The Horizon, although unfortunatly there is alot of people who only like that stuff cos its "cool" these days, which kind of spoils things and its pretty transparent when people are like that.

George used to be a total spaz, and it used to hard to hear what he was screaming. Although I miss his craziness, I respect the control he has now, his vocals have improved alot since the begining (sometimes I put on their first self-titled and Crisis side by side to see the difference).
Here we've got a great scene for harder music. There's also lots of indie coming out of here these days too (which got a kick start from Broken Social Scene a few years back).
It just snowed here for three days straight as our welcome to winter. No wonder we have the music scene that we do, all these Candians are stuck inside for 7 months of the year making music. Hahaha
Anyway, it's cool to sorta meet you. You sound like you're a pretty neato person. ^_^
