eh.. raves.. dont like them no offence, mainly the all ages ones.. i dont like the kids there and them all trying to be individual but really they all look exactly the same
and i cant really stand general d&b for longer than half an hour

well fairbridge isnt really doof-ish

more like...folk, celtic, blues, world music.
but i love it
its got a nice safe and calmingly happy vibe to it.

i go with my usualy crew family friends, olds, a few school mates and a few random associates lol
all in all we make a nice army
the shit thing this year is that it was organised to you could only book 4 campistes at a time.
so that kinda ruined our sense of community, we're a bit split up, but oh well!

anyway, the more the merrier, im sure if you can down there, there'll be somewhere you can stay.
i know quite a few people who are attending.

goddamn i love chai, its pretty awesome, ive got aroma cafe at uni, and out of all teh chai places that ive been (which isnt all THAT much...) its the best, has nmore an earthy taste than just sweet cinnamon.

i think the deal is as long as you pay for a ticket, then if you all go together you can stay on the same site.
but yeh.
i dnt know how to do staff or poi
i've tried staff once because my mate in mandarah has neon ones (poi and staff)
but hmm...is it really hard? pooo! lol
oh well, ill attempt it anyway
and yeh, i think you can bring the fire stuff as long as you dnt go to a main people area and start throught it around or something lol
if you go near the chapel there's usually people doing it
but the rules seem to change almost every year now, with more and more people going
like last year we go told off for busking after dark.
i mean wtf.
anyway,
the prices might go down if you have more people?
you shoudl suss that out.

staff is easy, well i find it easy once u get the hang of the basic movement.. u basically just let the stick flow i find poi really hard but ive only tried once, but then again i could never do that crossover thing with a skipping rope haha... i think im just not too good with both arms

O.o! you know what jsut thought
if you do volunteer work
for fairbridge or for something like the Sambonistas (a percussion band that performs there)
then you can usually get a free weekend ticket (fairbridge volunteer work, for 10 hrs, either at the festival, or beforehand/after) or free camping and a weekend ticket(sambonistas)
maybe that's worth checking out

anyway, yesh. we shall learn poi at fairbridge then
my mate has neon ones.
id probably start with that
so i dnt risk burning myself to pieces
