# About me

I am a retired civil servant who has always drawn and painted for my own amusement or to commission. I love many styles of art including Victorian classical and narrative painting, ancient and Byzantine art and art Nouveau /Deco.
I am a member of an arts group called Furness Creatives who are based in the Furness area of North West England. We have some talented artists, historians/archaeologists /reenactors and actors on board.

Thanks Colin. Thanks for helping me set up yesterday. I have managed to get all the artwork on but I can't seem to get the text matched up with it ,it's forming separate boxes of text. Must be pressing the wrong buttons!. See you tomorrow, Mark.
