what i like swords im a blade collector i only have two for now and they're daggers and ones broken at the hilt but i love sharp and shiny thingys lol

yup see ive only just recently started sketching and drawing and i cant even figure out how im supposed to upload photo's and stuff on the comp. much less DA.

If you already have the art or photos on your computer than that would be the first step in submitting art. Once you have done that, click on the submit art button, type in the name for the artwork, select the category in which the photo or sketch is best suited for (there are explanations for each category when you select them), then find the photo or sketch in your computer, upload the file and click submit. You will also have to agree to the terms and registrations, classify if it is a drawing or photo with mature content (check the FAQs on what DA says is mature content) then you should be close to fully submitting it.
Once you took care of all that stuff you'll have the option to turn that sketch or photo into prints (sellable versions of your art but that costs money and u need a higher subscribtion level here on DA). And also adjust some final things than it will appear in your gallery. I hope this helps

Well that's always a tough one now isn't it? Look at what interests you. See what kind of art style you would like to try. Are you a person who draws realistic things, or a person who likes to draw more cartoony/anime things. All it comes down to are your interests.
How I got inspired to learn to draw was from my writings. I wanted to illustrate my stories so people could understand what the villian looked liked or why this scene was so emotional. Also I pick some basic drawing styles and work to more complex ones. Example is I draw anime and furry characters because to me it is easier than taking the time to draw a real person and giving them all their distinct features.
In time it becomes easier, you just have to keep at it.

Draw what you want to draw and if you don't want to draw specifically anime or manga try getting some books on how to draw various styles. That way you can the one that best suits you.

Do what you want to do. Find your style, practice drawing things from various angles, and keep at it. Eventually you will get better or at least find what suits you the best.

Start slowly, work your way up. Your first sketches aren't going to be good but you need to at least get the concepts down first.
