Welcome 2012! Happy to see ya! Latest creative project: our winter deck, started in earnest October 2011 and starting now to look like a deck.I think they should have a spot on these things for childhood loves.
Childhood loves: Are You Being Served, Hercule Poirot, British detective shows and comedies, Reading Rainbow, Doctor Who (the fourth Doctor was my favorite; Nyssa was my favorite companion)
Biggest art challenge: Figuring out how to use the CS4 programs well on my computer. I'm loving MS 2010 now, I just wish I had the same familarity with my art programs. I have a book, but it's just not the same as a person showing me around ... sigh.

I love creativity. I always thought it was something that came naturally, but I now know it is something that, if you have some tendency for, you can train yourself to be much more through hard work. I.e., create better writing, art, music, etc. through regular practice and commitment to the craft.

Good! Busy. Work's been nuts. But I'm happy it's getting to be spring again - I have kind of a wet area behind my house and the frogs and cranes are singing like nothing else! I'm sure you've noticed the frogs! :-b

Oh! I have. Caught plenty of them too. This has been an unusual year, in terms of weather. I've been doing... Working alot. IN the process of constantly moving. My current job I pretty much travel all around the east coast cleaning coils on air conditioning units.. SO I barely have much time to sit down and take a break. Good pay though

Wow - that's cool that you get to travel around the east coast so much. It's really awesome out there. Lots of rocky ocean shore and beautiful houses, and hills, too. We don't have hills out where I live - it's a big, flat valley that all of the cities I frequent/travel between sit on. Lots of trees, but you kind of get to feel hemmed in when everything's at the same level all the time.
So do you keep any of the frogs you catch and care for them?

I haven't seen any of that... Unfortunately >_>... I've had enough of this job though. They were saying they'd be over with this contract before July... and now they're saying it won't end until the end of September. It's fucked up my plans by a lot.
I don't keep any of the frogs, let them live where they belong.

October! Hey, we might go to Ohayocon this February. Are you going at all? I remember liking the con pretty well - mostly because they had a masquerade screening room and you didn't have to wait in an immense line to see it with good sound. Plus the convention center was a good venue.

Wow, thank you! I don't post a whole lot here since I'm protecting most of it, but I try to be good and post new art sometimes. Except after seeing all the work by the professionals at the con, I'm really realizing just how much I need to improve my work. Yikes! (stuffing nose into grindstone and hoping I can manage to keep it there even when work starts up again)
