Anyway, anything in particular you've been following lately? I finished my playthrough of the new Sakura Wars. I liked it pretty well, though I still think I like SLML better. The combat segments were definitely better in the previous game even ignoring my preference for turn-based gameplay, since the settings and bosses for the new game got kind of repetitive, and the girls got more equal screentime while in the new game I found they gave a bit too much attention to the main girl at times at the expense of some of the others.

well its a new formula hopefully over time they will improve upon it as time goes. As for me I've been playing FF7 Remake finally which I'm enjoying, just got to the church after like 10 hours. Also I love Barret and Marlene in this game

Yeah, I really enjoyed their interactions. Really in general I love all the character interactions for the game, those and the combat system really carried the remake.

Also, Aerith is a delight. I'm really glad she gets to be fun and sassy again after some games tended to make her more generically "nice".

Yeah, I thought that was interesting. I do think some of Sephiroth's appearances are a bit gratuitous early on, but I do at least like his design here. Really makes him come off as a lizard person puppeting a corpse.

I could see something simple like joining an adventuring party with a few of the girls but ending up shrunken being fun, or maybe for something with a focus on one of the girls being targeted for Materia theft by Yuffie and getting shrunken, either by accident or as a means to steal from someone, and them in the process.
