Apparently the mythical '3 consecutive winters' terminating in the end of the world was most likely based on a volcanic eruption or meterorite which caused the sun to block out with ash particles and crops to fail in the Netherlands over 12yrs. And they worked this out through tree rings.

Yes, you guessed right! And I like the way I just got identified by my undying love for a certain band XD Your account is great! I only had a quick look but I will definitely have a better rummage through soon.

And my internet... Ah. I do HAVE internet, its just the definition of dodgy... I only just got it on my laptop (before it wouldn't let me connect to the modem for some reason)!
