Remember 1. Be open to change 2. Never bring sketchbook to school 3. all of these styles are a little bit different. find the one you want to pursue and go for it. In my experience, people don't mind too much if you use their art for reference, because its how many people learn.
BUT NEVER make exact copies of art pieces. ALL of your work should be original.
I think that's about it. Try to survive Maryland, don't talk too much out of the blue, and try to make friends. But stay out of the people you know can kick your ass's way. And whatever you do don't say you can take someone in a fight. unless you want a broken face.

okay, but to be honest, twokinds art isn't the best around. I can understand if you like his style, but they aren't the person you should be modeling. I strongly suggest shadow wolf.
and Stormdragonblue is the master of feetpaws, so if you want to draw those specifically, I'd look at his a bit.

they're not bad, but again, there are other people who are better for reference. these people you watch seem to have a cartoony/chibi-esque style, and if you want to be a good drawer, you should learn realism first and expand off of that
