Hi, I know we haven't spoken in a while, but there has been an outbreak of spam messages, and many people had their accounts hacked into and infected, largely because of lack of awareness or information. One example of these spam messages is this:
-Omygod, I just saw your artwork elsewhere. Click here (and the malicious link embedded).
From the accounts of those infected, these links take you to a page asking you to verify your username and password. Don't! Those are traps that often claim the unwary. If you see these links, do not click on the link; rather, respond to your friend posting the spam message, telling them to change their password, learn to recognize and avoid the messages, and to inform others to do the same.
