Definitely one of the best villains in anything ever- unpredictable, smart (in a deranged kind of way), eccentric, morbid, and has no sense of regret whatsoever.
Who are some of your other faves? I need inspiration! (I've already got Catwoman, Harley Quinn, Two-Face, and Riddler)

Definitely. I think one scene in The Dark Knight that illustrated that really well was when he was explaining to Harvey Dent that he was an "engine of chaos" and pretty much told Harvey to shoot him to "disrupt the established order". With someone like that, you never know what you're going to get.
Ah! The Joker and Harley Quinn ^_^
Do you want villains just from Batman, or from anything?

I absolutely loved that scene! I'm actually working on obtaining a few Batman comic arcs (the ones they compile into those nice graphic novels-- the Hush arc is supposed to be really good. Might get The Killing Joke or a Frank Miller, too).
Those two are amazing- big fan of them growing up with BTAS.
Um...preferably Batman, but others are good, too.
Batman villains are amazing- they're so psychologically fascinating. They all have background and motivation, dynamic personalities, and just that dark intrigue I get pulled in by.

Btw, who wins in your book: Superman or Batman?

I'm saving up to get The Killing Joke right now, actually.
You should do The Penguin. While he's not one of my favorites, he's such a classic Batman villain. Its kind of difficult to think about Batman and not think of him, The Joker, and Catwoman.

In my book, Batman wins sooooo much. I mean, Superman is cool and all, but I prefer Batman for several reasons. First of all, Superman was born with all these crazy abilities and Batman wasn't. Batman is just a really smart guy who invented all of these things to help him save his city. And then I think the Batman villains are some of the best villains ever created (both inside and outside the comic book world). They have so much more depth to them, and such a twisted reasoning behind all of their actions... its far more intriguing than "oh hey, I'm from another planet and I'm going to invade you, alright?"

Never was a huge Penguin fan, but I'll give him a try. I've only seen about the first 1/4th of "Batman Begins", so Scarecrow and Ra's Al Ghul will have to wait
Saving up for Hush and Killing Joke-- the latter is classic, and the villain Hush is like a childhood friend of dear old Brucie- the story's supposed to be amazing. THe guy doing the art for the Return of Hush is actually on dA: duss005. Look him up, be amazed.

I agree, Batman wins. As a person, he's just so much more deep and dynamic...more "human" (literally and metaphorically) than Superman. Superman's just too perfect: he has powers that basically cover ever base possible for whoever he needs to fight, is extremely moralistic, good-looking, etc. Batman is easier to relate to because 1) He has no superpowers, 2) has experienced real tragedy, and 3) has legitimate motivation to fight crime and risk his life to save innocent people. Plus, like you said, he uses intellect to do so. He fights villains that DO have superpowers and does it without taking the easy way out and using a gun (*coughPunishercough*). He tests his moral and physical limits, too, making him even more amazing, engaging, and dark. Plus, he's just thoroughly badass.
If it ever came down to a fight, however, I think the Big Blue Boy Scout might have the upper hand.
Batman vs. Wolverine, however...that'd be a fight worth watching *grabs binoculars and popcorn*
