# About me
Hello all, I am Raven Jones.I attend Louisiana State University in Shreveport. Graphic design is my major however in the following months, I will be enrolled in an intensive-study animation course and earn a certification. I also work at the school's University Center as a student graphic designer.
I freelance and work on my own personal projects. I plan to volunteer at local art galleries, participate in local art shows, gain an internship at a local ad or marketing agency--anything that will add to network of people I need in order to gain inspiration, motivation, prospective clients and close contacts.
Eventually I would like to establish my own unique art salon/bar to promote the talented young artists. Or accomplish my girlhood dream of working as an artist for Lisa Frank, Inc.

In answer to your question about my picture:
Egg tempera is a medium most popular in the 14th century. It consists of pure powerdered pigments mixed with egg yolk and water and applied to absorbent surfaces: gesso, paper, etc..
Andrew Wyeth used egg tempera extensively in his paintings.
