Said the people of the town
"She deals with black magic
We should burn her down"
They threw her in a dungeon
With an old and torn gown
No food or water
They laughed as she frowned
It was only her word
Against the whole crowd
It was an unfair trial
She was frightened and cowed
They just yelled and accused her
It should never have been allowed
When she was sentenced
They cheered as if proud
On the day of the punishment
Of the wrongfully accused
They pulled her from her chamber
And she was badly bruised
Even an elderly
Could tell she'd been abused
As to why this was necessary
I'm entirely bemused
They dragged her through the dirt
And up the hill by her hair
In those parts of the town
And those times it wasn't rare
For such an act to be avoided
By those who follow prayer

Or so they solemnly swear
When they arrived at the top
They threw her down with force
They had no respect for the lady

I had an opportunity to see her live a month ago at a venue only two hours away from my hometown, but I didn't go because no one wanted to go with me. :sad: I hate going to shows alone.
And wherever you heard that the show isn't very good, they're right. Ha ha. I wouldn't even waste my time if I were you. Plus, books are always better. Why ruin it?
