i also enjoy making ooak dolls, especially their dresses. i love doing princess dresses, haha. as i mostly make them as gifts for people that are very dear to me, so every favorit as well as every comment means a lot to me! thank you all so much =3

Snow White is one of the mostΒ eponymous Disney Princesses and dolls ever to be heard and shown. So as a commission (whenever you take it by chance or not), I wonder what Snow White would look like in a winter comfort casual, especially as a doll.

Your work is beautiful.Β I have recently started the doll repaint/restyle hobby, and I have some questions.Β I appreciate any answers you can give.
1)Β How do you get the eye paint to apply so smoothly, and with such precision?Β My painted eyes either look sloppy (because the paint gets lumpy) or cartoonish (because I can't do the fine details on such a small scale).Β Yet you get these dolls to look exactly like the character they represent.Β How do you manage this?
2)Β Do you have any tutorials on how to make doll dresses?Β Do you sew them directly onto the doll?Β Do you sew them by hand or with a machine?Β How do you create patterns for outfits from scratch (like when you do outfits based on concept art)?

i use many, many layers to smooth out the paint.Β
i sew all my dresses by hand, sometimes i make patterns, sometimes i sew directly on the doll. i sadly do not have the time to create tutorials, i can't even manage to answer all the lovely comments on here (which i am still trying to achieve, aaah!)

First off, I *adore* your doll repaints! They're so well done, and you can clearly see the hard work you put into them.
I want to try a hand at repainting as well, and I was wondering if you had any tips for doing so? Are there any particular brands of paints (or what do you use?) that are better for dolls?
