yep, that's the perfect definition who Apoksimenos is.
i spelled it how croatians do, maybe that's why you got just one result.
you see, we do some illustration stuff, experimenting with techniques and doing quickies in photoshop, so they gave us two classic greek statues - apoksimenos and ... the other guy... and they stand in the classroom next to each other. and i cropped apoksimenos out of the photo, because i wanted to concentrate on... the other guy.
so, there is nothing weird... except the professoresse...

You're right, we never give enough importance to the "other guys". History even forgot his name..
I just read the text from your zombie drawing. So that's where your quote "nobody likes you when you're dead" comes from. I was looking for example and counter-examples to which this quote would apply. I like some dead people... But I personaly don't know any zombies, so maybe that's why.
