we've just been away for nearly a month visiting Cape Town   and Dubai

Our brief experience of snow has gone for now. Unlike the Inuit people with many words 
for snow, if it does fall in the UK we only have one word for it  -  chaos

I nearly submitted another version of "Pretty flamingo..." rotated 90 degrees anti-clockwise.

Try turning your computer screen 90 degrees that way to show this - it looks like a 
scene from 'Alice through the looking glass' - totally weird and disturbing I think...

The "First by reflection..." white cottage by the canal in Wales gained a lot of approval among deviants. Unfortunately it's not for sale, although many of you expressed a wish to move in!

Of course the white cat you faved was not really homeless but it suited my notion of its connection with Ernst Blofeld, the cat stroking villain from the Bond books and movies. Strangely the cat was apparently never named!
