how do you actually do graffiti? I've always wanted to do it, but i have no idea how to begin.... what do i need and what should I do?

well you just learn as you go along really, same as most stuff. You learn how to get the image that you have on paper to getin it just as good (if not better) on the wall or whatever you choose to put it on.
MOst people just practice outlines to start off with, and when they are confident enough they attempt it on a wall.
You will just need to get some spray paint (montana and belton are my faves) although sometimes i use hycoate to do the very detailed parts, as you can get good skinny lines with hycoate. Also what is needed is caps, there are a few different kinds though, i usualy get the grey banana caps, cos they are good for characters (detail etc).
If there is no shops near you then you can order it off the net.
I got started by meetin up with people who already knew how to do it and they helped me along the way. then i just worked on it.
basicaly practice makes perfect...

Thanks!!!! I'm all excited now though, I'll go down the car bodywork shop tmz. So your saying, draw it on walls in chalk or something and when your confident enough, do it on brick walls?
How do i do it and not get in trouble? Cos getting arrested isn't really on my to- do list....

awww, lol, no you dont draw on the wall first with chalk, you just mark it up with the paint. but what i was sayin, was that you should practice your outlines on paper first, to get your style and confidence.
to do it and not get in trouble- well thats up to what you want to do. as you can paint legal walls, or paint places where no one cares , for example an old abandoned warehouse or something on the lines. or if you want to get up n seen on the trakcs etc, best to go out in night time or just dark n hide when the train comes 
and p.s caps are the nozzle things that go on the paint to make it come out.
