I went through a ton of stuff in your gallery, and LOVED it. I kept thinking about how you have so much good stuff... you never post a lot of it on nexopia. So I was glad to see it on here!


Your work is so thoughtful, today was the first time I REALLY looked at it, and I was so impressed with all of it.

Your 30D is definitely helping your work, compared to the S2 IS.

Haha, to be honest, I'm always so terrified to post my stuff in the nex forums. They give the critique I learn the most from but also the harshest!

It is SUCH a relief to be able to work with an all-manual camera. The S2 IS is a really great beginner camera, and it was handy when I was traveling [no bulk] but the lack of manual focusing and exposure abilities was killer. It's so wicked to be able to experiment with DOF now.

Again... thank you so much. Coming from you, a photographer I have so much respect for, it's the highest praise.

That's why I always post there, I can take the criticism, I find it useful. You have so much good stuff though that I bet they'd praise you on!

I have to say, I'm a little jealous of your 30D. I have the XTi, I think I'll keep it for the next school year, and get the 40D NEXT september. Just can't afford it right now. Plus I hope to have a job in a photo store again, it would be worth waiting to save some money on it.

You're SO welcome. And thanks for the respect.... I'm kind of ashamed I haven't really shot anything all summer, my DA hasn't been updated in so long. I'm sure once I move off to school I'll be shooting more!

It took me SO long to save up for my 30D... I basically worked I job I hated for five months just to be able to afford it and the lenses I wanted. I quit a week later XD but it was worth it. It's a good camera to work with... I bet the 40D will kick its butt though. It's worth the wait, in the end.

Hah the 30D is still an amazing camera. They're always coming out with something new, as soon as you get something... something better is out.

yeah I felt bad for not looking at the deviations, but I couldn't click on every one of them....I have a life! I shouldn't have let them pile up though.
