alright, i give on the monolithic. i've always used and heard the first definition, but i acknowledge that you used it correctly. not that it actually matters, but the "random" in the oh-so-eloquent title of "random prose" was in fact referring to my writing it, not needing catharsis at the time, or not feeling any of the emotions in the writing in any way, and not have any inspiration for it that i could think of. i wasn't trying to say that the prose i wrote was actually abstract. however, thank you for keeping me on my toes and correcting me, nonetheless.

The problem is that Bozeman lacks the better qualities of California, like a diverse culture, an ocean front, or more recreational opertunities. Bozeman's similarities to California include but aren't limited to: an unjustified cost of living, an equally unjustified hype surrounding regional life style (I.E. hollywood glamour or mountain pride), and finally natural beauty only a mother could or should love. It could be worse of course, but I'm still leaving in two years.

You know what's funny in the middle of all this? Is that the USA government is so convicted of their own success in this war and they're drowning so much in their own pride that they forget to actually check and see if the goal they announced in the beggining was achieved.
Thing is, this has happened many times in the past. USA wins a war, publicly announces that they were successful in the goals they wanted to achieve and the horror is left behind. Fortunately these images were unleashead to the public and confirmed what I always knew.

I think the Bush administration did achieve it's true goals with the war: oil/political dominance in the middle east. But we all know that they claimed their goals were to protect justice, liberty and democracy... you know as well as I do that they've hindered any progress that may have been achieved. the saying goes "you cannot fight fire with fire" and it's completely true.... bombing for peace does not work.
It's true what you say, the U.S. government cannot admit any wrong doing. As U.S. citizen it is really upsetting to see my tax dollars and my representatives paying for such evil. Sadly U.S. democracy brings no geniune choices to the public. it will be the down fall of the U.S. government, their greed will get the best of them as it always does to people with who get greedy. there's no need to thank me for comments, I always enjoy art that makes me think and you are really good at creating it. keep it up!
