Well, to be truthful, the reason I don't have a regular paycheck is because I don't work a "steady" job. I have a prints account here, I'm working on getting a deal with a store down on S. Congress, and I do some TEC stuff for the school.
None of those pay well.

Well if the devart print account is one time 25$ I figure it may as well be worth a try, at least if my parents are paying for it.
I still live in the same house, I just got fed up with the kids in middle school who would inevitably be joining me in high school and decided to get away from it. So far I think I made the right decision. I am still friends with Devin, Jenna, Laura, etc.

Well, for me, the prints account is more of a cheap way for me to get coasters and stuff to sell once the deal goes through (if it does). But, between *darkrune (who I belive you are familiar with) and I, we've sold a grand total of zero prints. Of course, I don't think he has anything avalible as a print right now, but my point is that there is no feedback system besides asking people to know how well prints are selling, or what kind of prints are selling. Sure, there's daily fav's, but that doesn't mean people are buying them, just adding them to their wishlist. Very few people on this site actually buy art from this site, so, as far as I can tell, it's not really worth it.
Yet again, though, I mention my potential business deal, because, if it goes through, I might attempt to concentrate the local artists that I know, in order to get us all more cash.

I haven't really used CS a lot yet.. If you're running 5 right now, 8 will be a welcome change.. though the interface is a bit changed and might take some getting used to.
Painter 8 is realllly fun, especially with a wacom.. because you can change the pressure, and the things drip, and blend..
I definitely recommend both.
I love my sony, too, hehe. Sometimes it can be a bit noisy, though. I want to get back into film photography.. I used to develop my own film, but after I got into digital I've kind of left it behind. Ooh, and lomo, thanks for reminding me. On my checklist of things to get when I have the $.

also-painter (classic) is probably my all time favorite program to play with a tablet. i love to enlarge the brushes into enormous sizes (like, sometimes at least the size of the screen) and make these abstracts-some'll be up later...check back and see

Well, I downloaded painter 8.. illegally. Shhh.
But I figured it was fair enough, because I bought painter 7, and shortly afterwards 8 came out. It pissed me off!
Photoshop was a lot cheaper due to academic discount..
And yes, that is much fun.

Well..
I my family has used nothing but macs.. but I had still been exposed to windows before I got my own computer..
For a while I -did- want a pc, but ultimately decided against it..
I didn't buy it myself.. I put money towards it though, and received it on my birthday.
and.... I saved up for the wacom , cause it's very useful
OSX is great
My iPod is kind of sucking right now.. when I put the headphones jack completely in, sound only comes out through the right ear, but if I raise it a bit, it comes through both.. but with not as good sound.
Also, I'm nearing hte capacity of it.
