I know it is a dumb question but how do get your pictures on here do you scan and what should I use to color to make it make work look better thank you for your help

Well yes I do scan! I either take a photo with my ipod because it has a good camera and once I get a good photo...or If i get a chance i use my scanner! I then use either photoshop or Paintool SAI to colour my work! If you make a lineart layer on SAI the work should look cleaner.
