Despite the amount of fractals and some basketry that I have posted recently, I am still actively papercrafting. I hope you'll like my new works too.

I actually quite like the baskets

Basketry workshop restarts in the second week of January. Before that I intend to make a basket with newspapers using the same technique I used on the last basket and I will try to make a tutorial about the process. During the course itself I have planned 5 more baskets: another basket using willow fiber, 2 more baskets using a coarse vegetal fiber and 2 more using newspapers. I don't need special equipment to make basketry, so more would come after that.
And I would like to apply these techniques to make mini decorative baskets, using normal coloured paper strips.
But mostly it will be papercrafts and fractals the days I don't have anything else to post.

We never got Cricket magazine here, that I'm aware of, which I think is a shame as I've heard such good things about it. My childhood was full of Farthing Wood Friends, which was a fabulous kids magazine but didn't have those really detailed fairytale illustrations in. I've still kept them all though, they've got great craft activities and information in!
