well its the musical based on the book wicked - so mostly pre-wizard stuff. i havent read the book yet (thought bought them and they sit on my shelf and mock me a little) because the musical has a happier ending and i dont want to burst my wicked-bubble yet.... but i wont tell you the storyline cos i cant explain it well enough so really you should drop everything and go to melbourne and see it!! (thats an order reggieness

All's well indeed. I think I'm starting to get my drawing groove back which is marvelous. =3
I'm still working for the MP, although my time here is coming to an end. It's a very....odd....department to work in. The award agreements not so great, and for the stuff you deal with here I don't really think it's worth it. I'm keeping my eye out for a job in the private sector (something like health or education). =3

Coles is the devil. Although I found out some hilarious news the other day - my old psycho bitch-boss from coles got punched in the face twice at some party by a guy. I can't say I feel any sympathy for her, she had it coming.
Got myself a job interview for next week, Dept of Transport, Energy, and Infrastructure. Fingers crossed!

Hah! I'm not going anymore, lol. My financial aid was declined for this semester. But now I think I want to be a paramedic anyway, so it wouldn't have helped me too much.

for us all our costs become a debt that we eventually pay off when we earn a certain amount of money.
i havent been up to much, its holidays so yeah, enjoying the freedom!

Idk if it's good or bad yet, lol. I have to become and EMT first. There are 3 levels of EMT. And then I'll have to be trained for paramedic, and then take a state test for it.
Weird, we get financial aid. If you're lucky you get grants that you don't have to pay back, but most of it is loans. And you can either pay it monthly, or defer payments until like a year after you graduate.
Yay, freedom! Our "holiday" we call it winter break, has been over for almost 2 weeks now.

well, lucky for us its done through the government - so you automatically start repaying once you earn over a certain threshold. but if you die (touch wood) and never earn enough money the debt just disappears
so winter break isnt that long? i still have two weeks or so til i go back.... i'll have to start adjusting teh sleeping patterns... meh!

Oh yeah, that's alot more classes and stuff. Each training course is 6 months and $150. With classes 2-3 times a week. So that's alot. But well worth it. But I'll have to find a state that pays their paramedics! Most of them don't!
And wow, that's pretty cool that it goes through the government. Some of our money comes from the government, but most of it is bank loans.
Winter break is roughly the week before christmas to the week after new years. With some colleges it's a little over a month, with others it's a little under a month.
Our summer vacation is longer though! It's roughly from the middle of May until the end of August. So roughly 3 months.
