# About me

Self-taught artist and painter, born in Rome in 1958, lives and works in Ponte della Priula (TV)
Inspired by the great masters of the figurative 900 ', loves to range between disparate genres: mainly portraits but also landscapes, surreal situations, original still life or industrial environments.
Among the favorite artists: Felice Casorati, Giorgio De Chirico, Lucian Freud, Egon Schiele, Tamara De Lempiczka, Pablo Picasso, Amedeo Modigliani, Vincent Van Gogh and many others. He loves American realists such as Hopper and Sheeler while observing the world of painting, contemporary or otherwise, with curiosity and attention, prefers oil on canvas although makes frequent use of graphic techniques, pastels, pencils and watercolors; loves large size paintings and the use of heartfelt formulas of dramatic color.

The music, a great friend and muse of many paintings with emphasis on Jazz and a marked preference for piano and trumpet.

This year was not a good year for my art.
Actually I experienced a loss of "swing" ...
My art production fell into few non-significant pieces.

But I'm working to change this trend
