you don't seem to be active at all... I mean.. 3 deviation comments really isn't that much. Commenting on other people's art is what gets you pageviews.

alot of times I dont have anything to say. I mean should we all have some comment on every piece of work on DA? Is a store still busy if half the people who walk in dont buy anything?

What if theres nothing to be said? If anything, they should have deviation views, that is, how many deviations you have looked at, not uploaded, wouldnt that be a better measure of activity?

I think its more of looking for whether you are helping people with their art or at least giving them feed back. A comment that says "I like it" at least tells the artist that someone likes that particular style, etc, or whatever it is about the pic. A comment that says "I love the shading technique you used here" is much more helpful and a comment that says "I really like the use of the blur tool on these lines. However you might want to try smudging the edges near the top if you are concerned that it looks fake" or something like that is even more helpful. Since artists are looking for feedback, a simple view doesn't tell them what the person thought.
