Aww thanks for the lovely comment I definitely want to start a new piece soon, but I'm not sure what the subject is going to be yet...possibly an 11th Dr in a fez?! But at the end of the day getting good at painting is really just all about practice - and also there are some really great tutorials on here that have helped me I'd def recommend checking them out!

I vote the fez shooting, lol but I think the hat looks silly haha just when amy and river think alike and shoot it cracks me up. I am more a ten fan but love the goofiness of 11.

haha, yeah alright actually - I've been sending work off here and there, but most of them don't reveal the results 'til sometime in October..You been entering any?? You should if you haven't, it gets quite addictive after a while You all sorted with New Designers? I am, but I filled out my name wrong on the form, so all the judges etc might refer to me as Rees Sian yes - I am that inept

lol rees sian hehe. no ive bin busy trying to find a job to get money to be able to print off my portfolio pages. im that skint its a joke. i dont even have enough to money to post a letter lol how sad. hopefully ill get one soon though so i can start sending things off, ive already got names and addresses ready so its not like i havent been doing anything.

Did you look at your results yet? i got a 2:1 which im pleased at. im guessing though they had to make a grade above first for you though didnt they lol

Congrats Pete! That's awesome haha, you charmer you I actually don't get a grade what with doing the Ord instead of the Hons - but I passed, w00t I think everyone has done really well from what I've heard, not surprised though as we are a pretty strong group

Aw love you, no money for stamps?! That's a dire situation indeed! It might be time to start selling your body Minty could be your pimp....then again I guess you could go for the more usual bar/shop work - where've you been looking? I mean if you've ever done waiting for functions the Waterfront ALWAYS need people for those, it'll be sporadic work but maybe you could fit it in with a regular job? Extra cash and functions are usually evening shindigs...also have you seen this site 'yconline'? You should have a gander as they have quite a lot of job opportunities etc on there, might be able to score some freelancing work?? and this job going might suit you: [link]

oh yeah i forgot that you already got your degree for fine art didn't you.

yeah no money for stamps or print outs. Im at home now so thanks for the advice but the waterfront is a bit far to travel for work lol. Ive tried everything, gardens centers, pubs, restaurants, fish'n'chip shops, supermarkets, butchers, fishmongers, cafes, bakers, beauty salons, clothe shops, sign makers, suitcase shops, post office, book makers, design studios etc.

All ive heard from is a possibility of a interview at a garden center lol.

Im putting my degree to great use. lmao
