Fun fact for you: There's 242 seniors in my graduating class and only one Yankee fan, and boy, does he get crap for it.
Red Sox Nation is really extreme, especially in New England, but Yankees, man, that empire spans the globe. Seriously, baseball's not my favorite thing to watch...it's a little slow and I really only like going to the games at Fenway (expensive!) because baseball's all about the experience. For me, the sports I love to watch are football, New England Patriots, and hockey ... the Bruins suck, but college hockey's really intense, especially with the Beanpot.
I respect your Yankee pride; they have some excellent players - Giambi, Jeter, Matsui, Rodriguez, and Damon (that traitor! ). I'm glad you forgive me but please, tell me you're not a Jets/Giants fan. If you are, I might not be able to forgive you.
And thanks, I'll just be happy to get my diploma. (Prom's already over.) Hey, if the Yankees win, it wouldn't be the first time.
