Its okay, I had the journal on the old account up for a long while, hoping people would know that I moved. I couldn't just put it down to rest. Too many good and cringy memories of a youthful artist. XD

That's pretty awesome! I'm alright, taking more classes for a math degree, but I'm also taking a drawing class for the first time to fill humanities credits. It's my favorite class so far after years of college, and I'm wondering if I made a mistake somewhere. X'D

Oh noooeessssssΒ X'D but realize this, art in any field is really a self-driven occupation. To continue to grow your craft outside the classroom, the time and discipline, it can get crazy and supppperΒ competitive O_o
They consider art as a humanities credit?? It was just called Fine Art Credit when I was in college. What kind of an art class is it? o.oΒ

Yeah, I enjoy doing arty things but when I have free time I'm usually doing something else, so I think that's a pretty good indicator that I'm not an art-to-live kinda person.
The class I'm taking is just Drawing 101, working on drawing still life things and working with value. It's nice and all, but I was hoping it was more for drawing figures since that's what I have problems with. I can draw objects just fine. XD

That is a good indicator. Art is a lot of work, fun work, but work. Its different for me because I do graphic design as my day job, now that I call that work and isssssn'tΒ exactly my life's ambition. The indie game company, on the other hand, is fun work.Β
Ohhhh the basics. Ugh, I dealt with it, but I remember having a dun time with drapery. You will be running into Life Drawing when you took enough required courses.
