If you were a real fan of Avatar, then you would know. Because Zuko doesn't "become the a hero" until several episodes and seasons later. Zuko remains the enemy, the Fire Nation remains the enemy, for the entire movie. Thus, confirming he is the antagonist role for the entire 3-6 years until the third season. If you were a real fan, you would have taken that into consideration.

I don't understand. Unless you're a completely uneducated 'korean' who forgotten her own culture and only knowns about Korea from googling stuff like KPOP or KDRAMA.
(And just to add, the casting director asked that the Korean applicants wear kimonos for their interviews. Not that it's totally embarrassing to do so, and Koreans wear hamboks and Japanese wear kimonos.)

LMAO I never said Avatar had no korean influences hell I know some of the the korean animators on deviant art its just that why make a big stink over something thats been going on in hollywood for ages just because Avatar is being turned into a live action.
This racebending thing in my eyes is being hyprocritical in saying that Just because the show has asian influences means everyone in the movie should be korean, Chinese etc. That sounds pretty racist to me. I ask the the question to most racebender but what if they casted all black people for the movie what would happen then? You'd find something wrong with that. really protesting isn't really gonna fix anything Hollywood has been doing it for years and nothing is gonna change I go to School for the arts and entertainment and I should know for a fact that as long as their are movies like this being made in America it will never end. Plus Race is not the first thing on my mind When it comes to a movie its THE ACTING and the story that I look for in entertainment not weither someone is korean or not. My baby brother a while back met Noah ringer at a ATA meet for taekwondo and his birthmother is 100% korean but you guys are still not satisfied. Just because I don't involve myself in the racebending cockipoo does not make me less korean come on I am proud of who I am and you questioning me about my heritage you should be ashamed.

Then what about Harry Potter? This is a movie we're talking about. Actors must be chosen to best represent the character's ethnicity. Harry Potter casted for specific ethnicities, so should have Harry Potter been a movie of all African-Americans living in Britain?
What about Twilight? The 'werewolves' were casted specifically for "Native-Amerians or descendents." The fact that they are Native-Americans heavily depends on the story as Jacob must be able to come from a long generation that tell histories of wolves and such.
That is not racist because the movie requires that ethnicity specifically. The same goes for Avatar.

we can do this for ages and we will just be running in circles plus I never asked for an arguement in the first place I'm pretty laid back and don't go looking for a fight. Your statements are completely contridicting in itself and the old "but the show has this" arguement is really getting old and stale. it is not Propaganda that Mike and Brian are the main producers If you look at the end of the trailers it say their names beside "producers" I don't really want to provide a link for this trivial arguement so if you do not believe then find it yourself.Zuko maybe an antagonist in book one but he is an antagonist with a back story making him likable and not a real villian even Mike and Brian stated that at comiccon last year. As it goes for Noah's mother, sorry but taking pix of someones mom when I'm conversing with them just to prove an arguement which I honestly think is a huge waste of your time and that you should argue with someone else because I'm still seeing TLA weither you think I'm right or wrong.
