I do! I am very lucky. I'm also lucky that my school will rent out cameras to art students, so I've taken advantage of that opportunity too. Thanks for all the faves and the watch! I'll definitely look through the rest of your gallery when I get a chance. I love your work.

Damnation, my school doesn't even have an art club.
They have a Year book comity but I am not going to join that. XD

Thanks! I have a DSLR (Canon EOS Rebel) that I use for a lot of my pictures, but from time to time I'll use my old camera (a Canon PowerShot A85) or my Canon S3 IS. I actually used the A85 for "Big City, Blue Skies."
I really appreciate your feedback!

Neat. I have a canon s3 is, exept i find its quite terrible for night shots, and i haven't found anything useful enough to fix that. Is that just the way it works or do you have any advice for making night shots any better?

Not really. I kind of have the same problem. I've tried the "night snapshot" mode, which I used to take a lot of fireworks pictures (which I might upload later). I've found that a lot of the pictures I take in the dark tend to be grainy, though.

Low light digital is difficult for me. This is one area where the 42 megapixel equivalent of film still has a leg up.
The latest Hollywood craze is LED lighting. You can buy a hot shoe LED array for about $300.
I ordered parts from various suppliers and pieced togther a few of my own, including a ring (flash-type) illuminator.
Nothing beats a tripod and a remote shutter control.
You can get a 8x10 fresnel lens (magnifier) sheet at Staples for a few dollars.
You can add a lot of light in simple ways also, like taking off a lampshade.
You can get creative with your flash with simple things like Tupperware bowls (the nearly clear ones).
