It's our pleasure! And birds are so precious; I really want to own one when I'm out of college lol. Everyone I've talked to about them seem to absolutely adore their birds!

They really are aha 
Each bird is individually unique in the sense of personality, though they can be very curious about their surroundings and just be real goofballs :'D
I love how affectionate and trusting they can be! Mango loves to crawl in my shirt and take naps. He is kind of destructive and really vocal at times, but i've kinda accepted it over time since a bird does what a bird does aha 

I've always had difficulty with social skills so all in all he keeps me company and has become my best friend. :> 
You should get one; they're a joyful companion to have!

That's so awesome to hear about! I've done some research about getting a bird, and I'm thinking I want a maroon-bellied conure since they're sociable. I have difficulty with social skills too, so it'd be nice to have a little friend to come home to and chill with.

Sorry for the late reply! I had a family issue come up and wasn't home. 
I adore maroon-bellied conures! They have such beautiful mossy colors with their cute little red bellies, aha. 
I'm glad we can relate in that sense! Mango is always excited when I come home and it makes me happy to see him :> 
They're such loyal and loving creatures!

Don't sweat it! I've actually been really busy with my first week of college.
That's so cute that Mango does that, lol! I can't wait until the day I can get my own bird to call a friend. I mean, I can technically apply for an emotional support animal, so maybe...   Nah, my roommate probably wouldn't like that.

It just occurred to me, do birds like belly rubs? That would be cute to just rub their little bellies and play with them lol

Oh man, I'm sure the first week definitely has been quite busy, haha. 
Maybe you can convince your roommate of the awesomeness that is a bird! >:'D I hadn't really thought about them until I first met my sister's fiance's birds. Ever since then I've been crazy about them aha 

It honestly depends on the bird. I've seen some in the pet stores actually roll onto their backs so I'm sure that some birds would enjoy that. Mango and I will personally play a game with me where he moves his head suddenly in different directions and I have to mimic him. He'll actually throw me off sometimes and move in a direction I didn't anticipate to make me lose, and I find it hilarious that he does that. He's got some strategy going on there, aha.

I've tried to touch Mango's belly but he personally doesn't like it too much :< He does love beak and neck rubs, though. 
If you do get a bird, I'd recommend you go for a type that isn't too vocal as Mango is a sun conure and he tends to scream incredibly loud at random times. I think green cheeks tend to be quieter, but it depends on the bird :'0

Definitely lol. And my parents don't want to invest money in a service animal, so there goes that idea.  That's so cute that Mango will trick you; birds are clever creatures! You're right, I'll have to look into green cheeks I think lol. I can handle a loud bird, but if it's quieter then that's preferable.

Same here; I can handle his noise fine, but other people i'm not so sure. Luckily I live at home right now so it's not an issue, but in the future it could be a problem for me since they live into their 30s and he's only 2 years old haha
They definitely aren't a service animal but with the right training they can prove to be a great friend to have around. :>

Yeah, that could be a bit of an issue Well, I'm definitely gonna get one when I'm living on my own, especially since my (maybe) boyfriend loves birds too! That's how you know he's the right one lol
